We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from The New York Public Library Shop; if an item doesn't meet your expectations, you may return it within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. Please ensure all apparel and accessories are in their original, unworn condition with tags attached.

Return Process

  Initiate Your Return

  Log into your account or visit our online returns portal with your order number and zip code to select the items you wish to send back.

• 2.
  Prepare the Package

  Securely pack the items in their original packaging, ensuring all literary-themed apparel is neatly folded and includes the original packing slip.

• 3.
  Attach the Label

  Print the prepaid shipping label provided via email and affix it to the outside of your package, covering any previous shipping barcodes.

• 4.
  Ship and Track

  Drop off your package at any authorized carrier location; you will receive a confirmation email once our library warehouse team has processed your refund.
